It was a beautiful day with Keshia and Tyler.

I photographed their family last fall and during our time together they made mention of possibly needing a wedding photographer in the near future. When Keshia reached out with an elopement date I was thrilled for them.

While Covid has damped plans for some it has also allowed others to do what they've always wanted. It's taking the pressure off of a lot of couples who just want to be married and I think that it a beautiful thing.

Keshia and Tyler simply wanted to be married. There was no fuss about anything and the day flowed with ease and grace. They got ready separately and met in private (with me tagging along) for their first look. Every time I shoot a first look I am reminded just how wonderful they are. Those first few moments are just the two of you relishing in each other. Taking it all in that this is your day. It's a beautiful moment to witness and I am so grateful to be a part of it.

Taking a few deep breaths in the middle of the forest with your bride/groom to be is the best way to start your day together. We finished couple photos, and headed to Forbes Landing, their ceremony location. Keshia walked down the most perfect set of stairs to make a grand entrance while family and friends watched from below. They read beautiful vows to each other and sealed it all with a kiss.

To me they celebrated in the most perfect way; quiet moments in the forest together and a ceremony by the water. Does it get any better? Or more west coast?

Congratulations Tyler and Keshia and thank you for having me be a part of your beautiful day.
